Ask Ora Português

Privacy Policy

Ask Ora (in Portuguese, Oráculo da Vitória) · Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains what data the Ask Ora app (“app”) collects, why, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights. It follows Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, where they apply to you, other privacy laws such as the GDPR and US state privacy laws.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is BANGKOK NEGOCIOS LTDA, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 41.849.798/0001-28, located at Av. Benedito M. dos Santos, Arujá, São Paulo, Brazil, ZIP 07400-000 (“we”).

Contact for personal data matters: privacy@tryaskora.app.

2. You don’t need an account

The app does not ask you to sign in. When you open it, it creates an anonymous identifier tied to your device (Firebase Authentication). We use it to keep your profile, your readings and your subscription. If you delete the app or its data, that identifier is lost; your subscription comes back through “Restore purchases”, in your Profile.

3. What we collect

The app currently uses no third-party advertising or tracking tools. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

4. Why we use it

Interest in tarot, astrology and spirituality may reveal religious or philosophical beliefs, which some laws treat as sensitive data. We use it only to provide the service you asked for, with your consent, and never for advertising.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that make the app work, each limited to what is necessary:

6. International transfers

Some providers (OpenAI, RevenueCat, Vercel and part of Google’s infrastructure) process data outside Brazil, mainly in the United States, under contractual safeguards offered by those providers.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as you use the app. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete your profile, readings, charts and studies within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (such as access logs, for 6 months under Brazilian law). Backups are overwritten in the normal cycle.

8. Your rights

You can, at any time: confirm whether we process your data; access it; correct it; ask for anonymization, blocking or deletion; ask for portability; know who we share it with; and withdraw consent. Residents of the EU/UK and some US states have equivalent rights under their laws.

To exercise them, write to privacy@tryaskora.app. We reply within 30 days.

9. Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS), server access is restricted, and each person can only read their own data. No system is 100% secure; if a relevant incident happens, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Age

The app is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if that happens, we will delete it once we learn of it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Relevant changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
